Q

explain fall factors

A

a measure of the severity of a fall

calculated by:

length of fall divided by length of rope or lanyard holding the fall

0m fall onto a 2m rope/lanyard = FF0

2m fall onto a 2m rope/lanyard = FF1

4m fall onto a 2m rope/lanyard = FF2
