Seen in elderly, blunt trauma, shaken baby syndrome
Crescent shaped bleed that cross suture lines
Midline shift
Cannot cross falx, tentorium

A
Rupture of middle meningeal artery, branch of maxillary artery Usually due to fracture of temporal bone Lucid interval Transtentorial herniation CN3 palsy Not cross suture lines Can cross falx, tentorium

A
Rupture of berry (saccular) aneurysm
Seen in Ehlers Danlos, ADPKD, AVM
worst headache of my life
Bloody or yellow spinal tap

Intraparenchymal hemorrhage
A
Mcc by systemic hypertension
Also caused by amyloid angiopathy, vasculitis, neoplasm
Occur in basal ganglia, internal capsule
Charcot- Bouchard aneurysm of lenticulostriate vessel
Can be lobar
