Rupture of bridging veins
Seen in elderly, blunt trauma, shaken baby syndrome
Crescent shaped bleed that cross suture lines
Midline shift
Cannot cross falx, tentorium

A
Rupture of middle meningeal artery, branch of maxillary artery
Usually due to fracture of temporal bone
Lucid interval
Transtentorial herniation
CN3 palsy
Not cross suture lines
Can cross falx, tentorium

Seen in Ehlers Danlos, ADPKD, AVM

Bloody or yellow spinal tap

A

Mcc by systemic hypertension
Also caused by amyloid angiopathy, vasculitis, neoplasm
Occur in basal ganglia, internal capsule
Charcot- Bouchard aneurysm of lenticulostriate vessel
Can be lobar
