less than two weeks later jane died - henry went into a state of morning + refused to marry for two years
how did cromwell reform the royal council
- cromwell argued it was too big - up to 100 members
- cromwell replaced it with smaller privy council with 20 members
- privy council consisted with laywers and profesh administartors rather than nobels
- clerk was appionted to record decsions
