  • Henry’s spy network ovserved lovel and stafford - ordered their capture before the planned rebllion
  • lovell managed to escape and was later involved in Lambert Simnel rebellion

  • Lack of english support but forgein support
  • Simnel pretended to be Earl of Warwick (Prince in the tower)
  • Margaret of Burgundy paid for 2000 troops - rebels now had army of 8000
  • Battle of stoke - henry won - simnel captured

  • Rebles murdered Earl of Northumberland
  • Hnery sent army of 8000
  • Rebels recieved royal pardon and no further tax collected

  • No support in england
  • Treaty of Etaples - france to expel warbeck
  • executed in 1497
