HGS Flashcards
(8 cards)
LOOK SEE approaches authorized for what approaches
Everything but a CAT III
Any approach that requires HGS
Is required to be hand flown below 1000AGL
CAT I, SA CAT I, and SA CAT II considerations
*CAT I mins are too high
*SA CAT I doesnt require AIII mode which can be advantageous for gusty winds as those can cause a APCH WARN
*SA CAT II requires AIII mode which lowers mins but raises chances of a gusty wind induced APCH WARN go-around
