What does a person’s caste dictate?
Who you are to marry, what kind of job that you will have, what kind of education you will have, etc.
Why are people okay with this system?
They believe that they have bad karma from a different life if they are a lower class and therefore do not complain as compensation for redeeming themselves.
How does it compare to African American troubles?
It is used as a discrimination tool to those of lower castes.

Laws against discrimination, Dalits given education to restore
Living conditions, doesn’t exist everywhere
Do Dalits and lower classes have the same technological benefits?
No. Brahmins and the higher classes have more time and can afford them with their less time consuming and less hands on jobs, while Dalits are living off of scraps.
