Q

how would posterior hip dislocation occur and what’s the presentation?

Q

management of posterior hip dislocation?

A

follow trauma protocol
-do closed reduction to prevent avascular necrosis of femoral head UNLESS there’s femoral neck/head/acetabulum fx -> do ORIF instead
