Factores que predispones a la hiperbilirrubinemia neonatal

A

Mayor número de eritrocitos
Menor sobrevida del glóbulo rojo
Eritrocitos envejecidos en proceso de destrucción
Ingesta oral disminuida, y escasa flora intestinal (mayor circulación
entero-hepática)
Insuficiente funcionalidad hepática
Presencia de sangrados y hematomas
Ausencia de placenta

Ictericia patológica

A
  1. Ictericia presente las primeras 24 horas de vida
  2. Ictericia presente por más de 7 días en el neonato a término o más
    de 14 días en el prematuro.
  3. Incremento de la bilirrubina sérica más de 5 mg/dL/día.
  4. Bilirrubina directa mayor a 2 mg/dL o más del 20% de la bilirrubina
    sérica total
  5. Bilirrubina total mayor de 15mg/dL en el neonato a término
