Today, I’ll provide a brief introduction to the Cold War, a topic that remains highly relevant today, especially in light of tensions between Russia and the West, which have fluctuated since the invasion of Ukraine.
🌍✌️➡️🇺🇸 & 🇷🇺🔝💪
The Cold War emerged after World War II, when two superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union, rose to dominance
🤝🇩🇪➡️🤨🤔↔️💡🎯
Despite being allies against Nazi Germany, they quickly grew suspicious of each other due to their differing ideologies and goals
👨💼スターリン 😟➡️🌍⚔️🇷🇺📜➡️🛡️➡️🇪🇺➡️🇷🇺
talin, the leader of the USSR, was particularly worried about Western attempts to invade the Soviet Union, given the history of Western interventions such as during the Russian Civil War, and the German invasions during WW2. This led him to create a Soviet-controlled “sphere of influence” in Eastern Europe.

The Berlin Blockade in 1948-49 saw the USSR cut off access to West Berlin, prompting the USA to organize a massive airlift. This division solidified the split between East and West Germany, culminating in the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961
