What does Liberalism mean?
People want freedom to make their own choices.
What does Nationalism mean?
People want their own country with their own rules.

People tried to change their governments.
What was the outcome of most revolts during the Revolutions of the 1830s & 1840s?
Most of these revolts failed, but some ideas stuck.

A group of people tried to unite Germany peacefully. It didn’t work.

It means all men could vote, not just rich ones.

Russia fought against other countries (like Britain and France) and lost.

A person who wants to stop slavery.
