What is history?
Simply the past. History is made up of a variety of things which come together to allow us to understand the different experience of different people through the ages
What is time?
For example Romans, Greeks and the Victorians. history is a lot of different periods of time, we use; Chronological order starting with the earliest .
Do people have a role is history?
Yes. For example: Hitler, Elizabeth the I, Henry the VIII and Winston Churchill. But it is not just famous people who make up the past it is ordinary people too!!!

World war 1, The great fire of London and the Irish famine
what are the 4 key concepts?
They are; change, continuity, cause and consequence.
what do the 4 key concepts mean?
Change is when something is different
Continuity is when something is the same
Cause is the reason why
consequence is the cause of something
What are the 2 types of evidence?
Primary evidence and Secondary evidence.
What is Primary evidence?(use examples)
Primary sources come from the time you are studying. Example; Diaries
Letters
Scrolls and so on
What is Secondary evidence?(use examples)
Secondary evidence usually come from after the time you are studying. Example;Textbooks
Schoolbooks
History journals
a lego model of of a castle and so on.
