  1. Stop all procedures
  2. Wash site with lots of waster keeping the mucous membrane well irrigated
  3. Bleeding is encouraged for puncture wounds and don’t suck the blood out
  4. Report the incident to supervising dental clinician and then go through the sharps procedure with them
