What are the differentials of cough?

A

HEENT/ upper respiratory - URTI, common cold, post nasal drip, sinusitis, post viral cough

Pulmonary - bronchitis, bronchiectasis, cough variant asthma, fibrosis, aspiration pneumonia

GI - GERD

Misc - Smoker’s, allergy/ irritants/ ACE inhibitors/ primary ciliary dyskinesia, mitral valve diseases, immunosuppression
