Q

How did George Klein figure out that at least some APs with “nodofasicular” properties were actually atrioventricular pathways with decremental conduction properties?

A

In a case report published in 1988, surgical ablation of the AVN and his bundle regions did not eliminate preexcitation. Cryomapping of the right AV grove demonstrated the atrial insertion of the pathway in the right anterior AV junction ~ 6 cm away from the His bundle location.
