*The archduke of Austro Hungary Ferdinand was assassinated by a serbian natinlaist because Austro Hungary was not letting serbia from creating a large independent slavic state
Austria Hungary declared war on Serbia which Serbia had an alliance with Russia
- Germany allied with Austria Hungary and they declared war on Russia and France
- Great Britain entered the war against Germany
- Austria hungary , The ottoman empire, Bulgaria and Germany were at war against Serbia, Russia, France , and Great Britain.

Why the US entered the war
Because of British-american connections ad specific actions by the Germans especially their use of submarine warfare
Sinking of the lusitania ( Germans believed it was carrying weapons to the British) Other countries including the US got mad because it was unrestricted warfare
The zimmerman telegram ( A letter that was going from Germany to Mexico making a secret alliance) and then the British intercepted the letter and gave it to the US and they found out
The preparedness movement-
Mobilize the whole entire US and the whole economy get enough supplies and people for the war
