A

two rock groynes built - 2 million
preventing longshore drift moving material
worked at mappleton but caused erosion along the cliff to increase considerably as sediment cant move on

wooden groynes built to prevent longshore drift trapping sand and protecting cliffs
successful at hornsea but increased erosion at mappleton
beach nourishment used to add more sediment to the beach but needs to be redone every two years
