A

A reduction of behaviour to a physical level and explain it in terms of neurons, neurotransmitters, hormones, brain structure etc…

  • suggests all behaviour can be explained in terms of simple stimulus-response links

e.g mother is likely to provide food which is reinforcing (reduces discomfort)
