Shame:
We feel isolated, rejected, polluted, and abandoned.
Can our shame be removed?

Honor:
But we long to be included, accepted, exalted, cleansed and cherished.
Can our honor be restored?
الكرامة

THE BEGINNING:
God created a good world and gave humanity great dignity.
البداية:

The Good World
The world reflected God’s love and greatness.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth…So God created human beings in his own likeness. He created them to be like himself…God saw everything he had made. And it was very good.”
Genesis 1:1, 27, 31
العالم الحسن
أظهر العالم محبة الله وعظمته.

Honor and harmony
Under God’s care, people honored him rightly as their Father and lived in perfect relationships.
“Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in the whole earth. You have set your glory in the heavens…You have made [humanity] a little lower than the angels. You placed on them a crown of glory and honor.”
Psalm 8:1, 5
كرامه و إنسجام
تحت رعاية الله، كرمه الناس كما يستحق كآب لهم وعاشوا في اتم العلاقات
“أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ سَيِّدُنَا مَا أَمْجَدَ اسْمَكَ فِي كُلِّ الأَرْضِ حَيْثُ جَعَلْتَ جَلاَلَكَ فَوْقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ…وَتَنْقُصَهُ (الانسان) قَلِيلاً عَنِ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَبِمَجْدٍ وَبَهَاءٍ تُكَلِّلُهُ.”

If God created a good world, why does it feel so broken?
إذا كان الله قد خلق عالماً حسن، فلماذا نشعر أنه محطم؟
THE PROBLEM:
We rebelled against our Creator. We sought glory apart from God and dishonored him.
المشكلة:
تمردنا على خالقنا. سعينا نحو مجدٍ بعيداً عن الله و أهاناه.
Corruption and death
By cutting ourselves off from the source of true honor and life, we corrupted the world and brought death, the ultimate state of shame.
“They knew God. But they didn’t honor him as God… Everyone has sinned. No one measures up to God’s glory… When you sin, the pay you get is death.”
Romans 1:21, 3:23, 6:23
فساد وموت
بفصل أنفسنا عن المصدر الحقيقي للكرامه والحياة، أفسدنا العالم وجلبنا الموت الذي هو الحالة القصوى للعار.
“لأَنَّهُمْ لَمَّا عَرَفُوا اللهَ لَمْ يُمَجِّدُوهُ أَوْ يَشْكُرُوهُ كَإِلَهٍ…إِذِ الْجَمِيعُ أَخْطَأُوا وَأَعْوَزَهُمْ مَجْدُ الله…لأَنَّ أُجْرَةَ الْخَطِيَّةِ هِيَ مَوْتٌ.”

Shame
We feel shame because we have dishonored God and our relationship with Him is broken.
“But your iniquities [sins] have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”
Isaiah 59:2 (NIV)
عار
نشعر بالعار لأننا أهانا الله و حطمت علاقتنا به.
“بَلْ آثَامُكُمْ (خطيتكم) صَارَتْ فَاصِلَةً بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ إِلَهِكُمْ وَخَطَايَاكُمْ سَتَرَتْ وَجْهَهُ عَنْكُمْ حَتَّى لاَ يَسْمَعَ.”
أشعياء 59: 2
Can this problem be solved?
هل يمكن حل هذه المشكلة؟
THE SOLUTION: God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to restore us from brokenness.
الحل: الله أحبنا كثيراً حتي أنه أرسل يسوع المسيح ليستردنا من انكسارنا.
Jesus’ honorable life and shameful death
Though Jesus lived a perfect life, he was mocked, rejected and abandoned. He suffered an unjust and shameful death on a cross.
We looked down on him. We didn’t have any respect for him. He suffered the things we should have suffered. He took on himself the pain that should have been ours.
Isaiah 53:3, 4
حياة يسوع المسيح الكريمه وموته المخزي
على الرغم من أن يسوع عاش حياة مثالية ، إلا أنه تعرض للسخرية والرفض والتخلي عنه. يسوع المسيح مات علي الصليب موت ظالم و مخزي.

Jesus removed our guilt and shame
He gladly took our sin, removing our guilt and absorbing our shame.
Because of the joy awaiting him, [Jesus] endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated at the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Hebrews 12:2b
أزال يسوع المسيح ذنبنا وعارنا
أخذ خطيتنا بكل سرور، مزيلاً ذنبنا و عارنا.

Jesus rose from the dead
Jesus rose from the dead, vindicated and honored by God. Only he can reconcile us to God.
“Jesus was handed over to die for our sins. He was raised to life in order to make us right with God.”
Romans 4:25
قام يسوع المسيح من الموت
قام يسوع المسيح من بين الاموات، مبرراً ومكرماً من الله. هو وحده القادر أن يصالحنا مع الله.
“الَّذِي أُسْلِمَ مِنْ أَجْلِ خَطَايَانَا وَأُقِيمَ لأَجْلِ تَبْرِيرِنَا.”

So, what can we do to be restored?
إذا، ماذا نستطيع أن نفعل لنعود الى مكانتنا الأولي؟
OUR RESPONSE:
We must turn away from seeking our own honor and trust God.
إستجابتنا:
علينا أن نبتعد عن السعي وراء كرامتنا ونثق بالله.
Complete trust
We must embrace Jesus with complete loyalty and trust.
“Say with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord.’ Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Then you will be saved. . . The one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
Romans 10:9, 11
ثقة كاملة
علينا أن نقبل يسوع المسيح بمنتهي الإخلاص والثقة.
“لأَنَّكَ إِنِ اعْتَرَفْتَ بِفَمِكَ بِالرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ وَآمَنْتَ بِقَلْبِكَ أَنَّ اللهَ أَقَامَهُ مِنَ الأَمْوَاتِ خَلَصْتَ…كُلُّ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ لاَ يُخْزَى.”
رومية 10: 9, 11
Receive God’s honor
We must allow God to be our source of honor, as His beloved children.
Some people did accept him and did believe in his name. He gave them the right to become children of God.
John 1:12
استقبل كرامة الله
علينا أن نسمح لله ليكون مصدر كرامتنا، كأولاده المحبوبين.
“وَأَمَّا كُلُّ الَّذِينَ قَبِلُوهُ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ سُلْطَاناً أَنْ يَصِيرُوا أَوْلاَدَ اللَّهِ أَيِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِاسْمِهِ.”
يوحنا 1: 12
The choice
Bear your own shame and remain outside of God’s family.
OR
Trust Jesus to bear your shame and become an honored member of God’s family.
Which represents your life? Which do you want to represent your life? Why?
الإختيار
تحمل عارك وتبقى خارج عائلة الله.
ام
ثق بيسوع ليحمل عارك واصبح عضواً مكرماً في عائلة الله.
أي إختيار يمثل حياتك؟ أي إختيار تريد أن يمثل حياتك؟ لماذا؟
What do you want?
If you want God to remove your shame and give you honor you can express your desire through this prayer:
Heavenly Father, I am in need of you. I confess that I have sought honor apart from you. As a result, I have dishonored you and my heart is impure. I thank you that Jesus willingly entered into my shame, took it upon himself, and invites me to share in his honor. I believe in Jesus alone for honor and adoption into your family. I desire to follow you with my whole being. Make me the person you want me to be. Amen

إن أردت أن يزيل الله عارك ويعطيك كرامه، يمكنك ألتعببر عن هذه الرغبة من خلال الصلاة التالية:
أيها الآب السماوي، أنا بحاجةٍ إليك. اعترف بأنني سعيت نحو كرامه بعيداً عنك. ونتيجةً لذلك، جلبت لك العار وقلبي غير نقي. أشكرك يا يسوع لأنك قبلت طوعاً أن تتدخل في عاري، أخذته على نفسك ودعوتني لأشارك في كرامتك. أنا أؤمن بان يسوع وحده القادر أن يعطيني الكرامه و يضمني لعائلتك. اريد أن أتبعك بكل كياني. اجعلني الإنسان الذي تريدني أن أكونه. آمين.

THE RESULT:
We share in Jesus’ honor and have new life in God’s family forever.
النتيجة:
نشارك في كرامه يسوع المسيح ونعطي حياةً جديدةً في عائلة الله إلى الأبد.
Restored
God restores true honor and adopts us as His children.

كامل
الله يكملنا بكرامه حقيقيه ويتبنانا كأولاده.
“كَمَا اخْتَارَنَا فِيهِ قَبْلَ تَأْسِيسِ الْعَالَمِ، لِنَكُونَ قِدِّيسِينَ وَبِلاَ لَوْمٍ قُدَّامَهُ فِي الْمَحَبَّةِ.”

Included
God’s family forms a beautiful community devoted to loving the world and honoring him.
I will put beautiful crowns on their heads in place of ashes. I will anoint them with olive oil to give them joy instead of sorrow. I will give them a spirit of praise in place of a spirit of sadness. They will be like oak trees that are strong and straight. The Lord himself will plant them in the land. That will show how glorious he is.
Isaiah 61:3
منتمي
تشكل عائلة الله مجتمعاً جميلاً مكرساً لتكريم الله ومحبة العالم.
“لأُعْطِيَهُمْ جَمَالاً عِوَضاً عَنِ الرَّمَادِ وَدُهْنَ فَرَحٍ عِوَضاً عَنِ النَّوْحِ وَرِدَاءَ تَسْبِيحٍ عِوَضاً عَنِ الرُّوحِ الْيَائِسَةِ فَيُدْعَوْنَ أَشْجَارَ الْبِرِّ غَرْسَ الرَّبِّ لِلتَّمْجِيدِ.”

Honored
God exalts us to eternal glory. Our longing for honor is satisfied in knowing Christ.
God raised us up with Christ. He has seated us with him in his heavenly kingdom. That’s because we belong to Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:6
مكرم
الله يرفعنا إلى مجدٍ أبدي. اشتياقنا للكرامه يشبع من خلال معرفتنا ليسوع.
“وَأَقَامَنَا مَعَهُ، وَأَجْلَسَنَا مَعَهُ فِي السَّمَاوِيَّاتِ فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ.”
