Skills that impact your health. These consisist of strength flexibility, Cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, body composition.
Skill related Components of fitness
These are atrobutes that don’t ompact your health. These consist of: Agility, Speed, Power, Reaction time, balance, power, coordination
Agility
Ability to control the movement of the whole and change position quickly.
Body Composition
Percentage of body that is muscles fat or bone.
Speed
Rate an individual can cover of movement of a range of distance
Balance
Keep the body stable, while at rest of in motion
Muscular Endurance
Ability to exercise the whole body for long periods of time
Coordination
Ability to use two or more body parts together
Reaction Time
Time between the presentation of a stimulus and the onset of movement
Flexibility
Range of motion of your joints
Power
Ability to undertake strength performances quickly
Cardiovascular Endurance
Ability to exercise the whole body for long periods of time
Strength
Amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance
Interval
Involves alternating stages of high and low intensity activity.
Fartlek
A method of training for runners where the terrain and speed are constantly changing.
Continous
Aerobic exercising at a moderate to high level, with no rest
Circuit training
Is a series of exercises, completed for a certain amount of time one after the other
Plyometric
Exercise where muscles use maximum force in short intervals of time
Weight
Imvolves lifting wrights to increase the strength of muscles, using reps and sets.
