What is a Primary source?
A Primary source is a source which was created during the time period or by someone who was present at the time.

What is a secondary source?
A secondary source is one that created after the time you are studying. Some sources mainly secondary could be biased.

What is the ‘value’ of sources?
How much infomation it gives on the topic and how reliable it it.

What is the role of a historian?
A historian is someone who studies the past.
What is the role of a archaeologist?
An archaeologist study the human past by examining the remains and evidence of what had been left behind.

What is a ‘Tell’?
A Tell is a mound of earth, like a small hill, which has layers of civilisations buried. The further they dig down, the further they go back in time.

What is chronological order?

What is the Hypothermia Theory?
- His body was preserved well, so scientist think he froze quickly after his death.
- Hypothermia occurs when the body temperature drops significantly.
- Because weather in the Alps changes rapidly he could have froze.
- It is easy to become disoriented in the Alps.
- Ötzi’s muscle tissue was badly decompsed which occurs when in cold water.
- When having Hypothermia sometimes you get a warm sensation, and Ötzi had no clothes when they found him. Did he take them off?
What is the Robbery theory?
- Was Ötzi a shepherd like most of the village?
- At the time it was common to to they’re flocks to the Alps.

- There was a intense border dispute between the people and a battle could have solved it.
