Q

How do we decide the betsize on broadway A high boards?

A

The 2nd card after the A decides the betsize, on AKx small size dominates with some overbets (12-14%). On AJT there is almost no small size, only POT and OVERBET, because GS’s have an overcard to 2nd, so it is much easier call to 1bb bet, while it is a hard defend to overbet.

Q

How do we bluff on broadway K, Q high boards?

A

Besides GS-s, our low BDFD-s will be our bluffs. From Ax we would like to bluff the worst Aces + Ax w/o BDFD

20
Q

How to Cbet?

2pairs

A

Main rule: Always (IP we almost never X back 2pair+ in any spot)

Exception: On very connected boards we have decent X back with 2pair ~50%

21
Q

How to Cbet?

TP

A

Main rule: TP w 8+ kicker always cbet. Between 8-6 kicker we prefer the better, 5- kicker only cbet with very low frq. (if the kicker matters)

Exception: if we have a board with straight possibility, we prefer TPGK+, TP+GS/SD

22
Q

How to Cbet?

2nd/3rd

A

Main rule: Cbet the best 2 kickers. Bet more kickers, if the 2nd card is low, because we want to protect vs high cards

Exception: On low connected boards (345, 456) you should consider start to cbet the worst 3rd pairs as a bluff

23
Q

How to Cbet?

GS/SD/FD

A

Main rule: This is almost always main FRQ cbet without many difference. You just want some draw in your cbet and in your X back range as well. Maybe you prefer 1 over 1 under FD’s, like K2s, Q3s etc

24
Q

How to Cbet?

K-Q high

A

Main rule: Always check the strongest 2 kickers, you only want to cbet the strongest highcards (AK is almowst always cbet - and a barrel turn), AK-AJ mostly. You also want to check with the 3rd strongest highcard, but start to cbet with the worst ones.

Exception: low boards, where 2 over is most likely a bluff, and has less SD value

25
Q

How to Cbet?

Trash

A

Main rule: You always want to look for BD straight blockers. Where there isnt’t, you just cbet with main FRQ

26
Q

How to Cbet in paired boards?

Trash

A

We almost always want to cbet biggest trash cards. Exception: 2 undercards, where we cbet with low frq -> approx 50-60% cbet with trashes

27
Q

How to Cbet in paired boards?

Trips

A

On high FRQ flop we are cbetting almost all the trips, checking FH and quads (this will defend our check range with pairs). On low frq boards we cbet 60-70% (prefer +BDSD to checkback)

28
Q

How to Cbet in paired boards?

Highcards

A

A, K, Q highcards (or the first 3 highcards, e.g. on KK6 A, Q, J highcards) almost fully checkback. Exception: AK-AT, KQ, KJ valuebet!

29
Q

How to Cbet in paired boards?

Pairs

A

Only pairs with good kicker, excxeption Axx, where we have high FRQ cbet, respectively more cbet with volnurable pairs
