it was a document that stated that the king wasnt above the law It was the first document to state that the King was not above the law
what is trial by ordeal fire
when the acussed would would hold a red hot iron or walk across burning coal and if it wasnt healed by 3 days then they were guilty
what is trial by ordeal water
the acussed would place their arm in boiling water found guilty if burns handt healed in 3 days or be tossed into a river found guilty if the floated
what is trial by combat
the acussed would fight the acuser or a knight representing them winner was innocent because god took their side

limits on goverment, goverment by consent, the rule of law, justice
