What is the definition of human behavior
Is an attempt to explain how and why humans function and the way that they do
What is motivation
Dominate force that governs the learners progress and ability to understand and can be used to the advantage of the instructor

What is positive motivation
Promise of achievement or reward (personal gain)
What is negative motivation
When a threat or fear is put into the student (should not be used)
What is a tangible motivation
Something that is physical. (Checkride pass paper)

Reward that can’t be touched and is varied from person to person.
(Security, group approval)

Denial- refusal to accept external reality because it is too threatening.
