What is censorship?
Suppressing or restricting access to information, ideas, or expressions that are considered objectionable, harmful, or sensitive by authorities or groups
What is discrimination?
Unfair or unjust treatment of individuals or groups based on characteristics such as race, gender, religion, age, or disability
What is extremism?
Holding extreme political, religious, or ideological views, often leading to intolerance, radical actions, or violence which are far different to the views of the general population
What are human rights?
Basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person simply because they are human, such as the right to life, freedom of speech, and equality before the law
What is personal conviction?
A firmly held belief or principle that an individual feels strongly about, often influencing their actions and decisions
What is prejudice?
Prejudging or forming an opinion about someone or something without proper knowledge, often based on stereotypes; usually negative and unfair
What is relative poverty?
A condition where people have less income or resources compared to others in the same society, meaning they cannot afford the standard of living considered normal
What is absolute poverty?
A severe lack of basic resources such as food, clean water, shelter, and healthcare, meaning survival is at risk.
What is social justice?
The idea that all people should have equal access to opportunities, wealth, rights, and privileges within a society, promoting fairness and equality
