Avox was a traitor. She ran away. Kat-niss saw Avox running in the woods one day with a boy. Avox looked imploringly at Kat and Gale, desperate for help to escape the Capitol. Kat and Gale didn’t help. They looked on while the Hovercraft caught Avox and boy and whisked them away.
