What is the purpose of a flood hydrograph ?
A
Graph of the discharge and rainfall of the river leading up to and following a storm event. They are important because they can predict how a river might respond to a rainstorm which can help in managing a river.

A
Amount of water that would be in the river without the addition of storm water.
