Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition.

Anti-thyroid peroxidase (anti-TPO) and anti-thyroglobulin antibodies.
What is the most common cause of hypothyroidism in the developing world?
Iodine deficiency.
Name treatments for hyperthyroidism that can lead to hypothyroidism.
Carbimazole, propylthiouracil, radioactive iodine, and thyroid surgery.
What medications can cause hypothyroidism?
Lithium and amiodarone.
What is secondary (central) hypothyroidism and its common causes?

Low T3/T4, high TSH.
