Low levels of oxygen in your body tissues

Hypoxia symptoms
A
Confusion, restlessness, rapid heart rate and bluish skin. Can be life threatening

Hyperventilation symptoms
A
Dizziness or lightheaded, shortness of breath, dry mouth, weakness, confusion

What is hyperventilating
A
When you breathe, you inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Excessive breathing may lead to low levels of carbon dioxide in your blood, which causes many of the symptoms that you may feel if you hyperventilate.
