What legislation governs local private hire?
The Local Government Act 1976 (Section 5 Private Hire)
From what age can a child travel alone?
12 years and older.
How many penalty points are allowed before licence can be revoked?
A maximum of 12 penalty points are allowed.

Two require: one worn and the other on clear display. Must be returned if revoked.
