What is Microsoft Office Word used for?
It is used to create documents/books.
What is the use of the header/footer in Word?
It is to add information that is displayed automatically on all the pages of the document such as the date or the page numbering.
Define the term margins?
The margins are the spaces in the top, bottom, left, and right between the text and the edge of the page.
What is Microsoft Office PowerPoint used for?
It is used to create presentations.
What is the purpose of the master slide?
It is to add elements that appear on all the normal slides.
What is the difference between the transitions and animations in PowerPoint?
Transitions > The way the slides appear in the slideshow. Animations > Effects added on the items inside a slide in the slideshow.
What is Microsoft Office Access used for?
To manipulate databases and create queries and reports.
How do you write this criteria: The price should be greater than or equal to 50?
Write in the criteria of the price field >=50.
What does it mean when a field is sorted into ascending order?
Sorting the numbers from smallest to largest and sorting the text into alphabetical order.
What does it mean when a field is sorted into descending order?
Sorting the numbers from largest to smallest and sorting the text in reverse alphabetical order.
What is the cell reference?
The name of the cell in Excel. Example: C3.
How to create a chart in Microsoft Office Excel?
1- Select/Highlight the data.
2- Click on the insert menu.
3- Choose the chart type (bar/line/pie).
4- Add an appropriate chart title.
5- Add appropriate Axis labels.
