Large Scale Electrical Production Methods (Q8) 4 Marker
A
A hydroelectric power station can respond to changes in energy demand, has a larger output for instillation, requires less space and isn’t weather dependent whereas a wind farm is weather dependant. A hydroelectric power station is expensive to build, and requires a mountainous area and a dam to be built. It is also permanent and cannot be removed.
