A government-owned organization that was created on November 16, 1945 at the end of World War II. UNESCO supports literacy reading programs in developing countries, advocating for the preservation of endangered languages (dying languages). In addition, it supports and advocates for gender equality in education, facilitating scientific research and exchange programs, combating racism and discrimination, and advocating for freedom of expression — making sure everyone’s voices are heard and cultural traditions are respected

by lending money to the governments of its poorer members to improve their
economies and to improve the standard of living of their people. The World Bank is owned by187 countries’ government members. It’s like this super helpful friend that lends money to countries in need so they can build schools, hospitals, and other
important stuff, and just like a
piggy bank helps you save up for
things you need.

World Health Organization

A

A government controlled international organization who works to make sure
that everyone everywhere has access to good healthcare and can live healthy lives. WHO helps out when there are big health emergencies, like epidemics or natural disasters. They also do research to figure out how to prevent diseases and keep people safe and healthy.
