Hepatitis B Vaccine

A

Birth, 1-2 month, 6-18 month

For infants with HepB postive mothers, administer HepB vaccine and 0.5 mL immune globulin (HBIG)

4 weeks between dose 1-2, 8 weeks between 2-3

3rd dose must be at least 16 weeks after 1st dose, minimum age of 3rd dose is 24 weeks

2 months and 4 months

May do @ 6 months if part of a combination (RotaTeq)

Maximum age is 14 weeks, 6 days - do not initiate after this age
