Australian governments produced propaganda in forms of newspaper articles, cartoons, films and leaflets.
Changing roles of Women
Women had a more active in WW2
- Women took on men’s roles in business and non- combatant roles to allow man to enlist in WW2. Jobs includes the; WAAAF, AWAS, AWLA, WRANS.
Treatment of ‘enemy aliens’
1939 commonwealth government forced individuals from countries like Germany and Japan living in Australia to internment camps.
Censorship
The governments Department of information was monitored and restricted from releasing negative context of the war in forms of; newspapers, radios, films.

1939 Rationing - limiting specific goods to a certain amount per person.
