2) The endometrium becomes the decidua
3) The blastocyst begins to bore its way into the decidua and keeps going until it’s completely burrowed in it
4) Trophoblasts produce hCG to keep a constant level of progesterone so the corpus luteum keeps functioning
5) The blastocyst receives nutrients from the maternal blood
6) Implantation complete around day 10
