Pi Kappa Omicron is formed on April 9, the group which later founded our Delta Upsilon Chapter. Members were derided as “pumpkin heads”

Swarthmore Colelge begins construction of our current Chapter lodge, as well as three other fraternity lodges and the Wharton Club

The Chapter is suspended by the College for continual disciplinary violations by Chapter members.

A referendum is held in an attempt to remove Greek life from campus on April 10th. The motion “Do you support the abolition of fraternities and sororities at Swarthmore College” is rejected with 61% saying No, and 29% saying yes.
