-the bad one is in the troposphere and it can cause breathing problems and intensify existing problems
- acts like a green house gas (can block terrestrial radiation and make the earth warm)
-forms air pollution

the good one is in the stratosphere and it helps to block out 95% of the sun’s radiation
-maintains temperature on the Earths surface

What is the cause of acid rain?
burning fossil fuels that release compounds of carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur into the atmosphere
these compounds react with water and fall as rain

bronchitis and asthma

destruction of the ozone (O3) in the stratosphere
