jesus is the word or God
- the word of God is another name for the son of god who is both fully god and a separate person of the trinity
- the word of god became human form in the form of jesus which is why jesus is sometimes called ‘the word of god made flesh’

- abortion is wrong as it goes against the sanctity of life

-grace is gods gift of his unconditional love - ’ grace is free and unserved’ - catechism

-jesus is the ‘image of visible god’
- jesus’ death/ resurrection brings the gift of redemption
- through the incarnation god is present in a living way
what is the sacramental nature of reality
- the idea that ordinary things can be the sign of gods grace
- ‘god is made known through creation’
- this is how humans became aware of god in ordinary things
- the seven sacraments is ‘outward sign of invisible grace’ (st augustine)
