Five major functions that are part of the ICS
command, operations, planning, Logistics, financial/administration
an example of a single resource would be an
engine company or a ladder company
single resources can be combined into
strike teams or task forces

the combination of facilities, equipment, personal, procedures, and communications operating with in a common organizational structure
