-must notify the board and comply with whatever they tell you to do to keep the drugs secure
What are the procedures in Indiana code for transferring prescriptions?
-if a patient requests then it can be transferred to another pharmacy including C-IIs if it has not been filled
-federally C-IIs aren’t allowed to be transferred via fax
-technicians can transfer a prescription, pharmacists must transfer controlled prescriptions
-non-electronic transfers of C-3 through 5’s are allowed & have to have been filled at least once before being transferred
