PID staging

A

Stage - condition
1 - acute salpingitis without peritonitis
2 - acute salpingitis with peritonitis, purulant discharge
3 - acute salpingitis with tubal occlusion/ tube ovarian mass.
4 - ruptured tube ovarian mass
5 - tubercular salpingitis

Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome

A

Perihepatitis following Chlamydial/gonococcal PID.

Violin String adhesions.

Right UQ pain with pleuritic component, may get referred to right shoulder tip.

D/D - tubo-ovarian abscess and cholecystitis (both won’t have violin string adhesions)
