What are infectious diseases?
Diseases that are caused by organisms known as pathogens. Passed from
infected to uninfected people. Some also affect animals and are passed from animals to humans.
What are carriers?
People who spread a pathogen even though they do not have the disease
themselves.
How is data about diseases expressed and standerdised?
Normally as per 100 000 people
What are control methods?
Methods that help control the spread of an infectious disease. They include basic hygiene practices, vaccinations and medical health care.
