Trichinellosis:
First week: gatric acid releases encysted larvae
Larvae invade small intestine
Develop into worm(intest stage)
Female worm can give new larvae
After 4 weeks later.
They migrate and encyst into striated muscle
During intest phase: nausea vomit abd pain, during migration: fever subungual splinter hemorrhage, periorbital edema, conj retinal hemorrhage, chemosis. EUSINOPHILIA HALLMARK
