What are the pros and cons of using moisture meters?
A
A moisture meter doesn’t measure moisture, it measures electrical conductivity.
Therefore, whilst it can identify damp materials, it is also liable to give false readings if there are high amounts of salts, or if there is a surface material eg. paint, that contains metals.
