Purposeful: related to mission accomplishment and overall readiness of the organization. Coordinated: precludes redundancy, complements other inspections, minimizes burden on units. Focused on feedback: must provide accurate and timely feedback and a written record of results. Instructive: teaching and training is essential to all inspections, must leave unit with process on how to achieve standard. Followed up: must be followed up on findings and inspections.
