  • Exciting sector and very fast-paced

•Recent influx of CLO activity
o Did well through pandemic -> low default rate
o US: anticipated interest rate rise from the Fed in March -> increase appetite for CLOs as leveraged loans bought by CLOs having floating interest rates that will match the Fed’s rate -> investors will receive more money
o Europe: CLO issuance increased by 75%
o CLO-ESG article – how this specific sector are incorporating ESG factors
o Very busy in this area, lots of work! Exciting!

o remained calm and uninvolved - explained not my decision but will express her concerns to my manager

  • Accustomed to stress of deadlines and large workloads over time - I handle it well
  • Focus on main goal - helps align smaller tasks in a digestible manner

What do you enjoy about working at White & Case? How much of your work has international elements/how much do you liaise with other offices? Chris – I read your article you wrote last month about ESG-related CLOs – does most of your work in CLOs incorporate ESG factors, with loans structured as Article 8 or Article 9 funds? Is this something you advise your clients to consider?

* Rajah & Tann * big commercial dispute - had to proofread bunch of docs * high pressure environment * found discrepancies in spelling and grammar despite large volume of docs * kept an eye for detail - not most stimulating work but able to methodically proofread * was praised for my work and was then given Witness Statements to proofread
