Initially joining police over army, then jumping from CNC to WMP
Dealt with something under pressure?
MISPER MILTON INTERCHANGE, FIRST EVER INCIDENT
Challenged inappropriate behaviour?
IFC, COLLEAGUE SLOW LEARNER AND LAUGHED AT. Challenged laughers and said it was inappropriate and that everyone learns differently. Positive action taken and focused on individual, passed out stood next to eachother.
Impact on personal life
Understand it’s a stressful demanding job,
Shift patterns are tough,
Learn and develop yourself as an individual and police officer
Mental health struggles of taking stress home etc etc
Time facing adversity?
Covid- tough time personally after losing a best friend. Used it as motivation and completed my first ever marathon. Never gave up.
Conflict?
Boss turning up to job whilst roofing in front of client and whole family. Asked us to clean van for new week and caused an argument
Time leading by example
Proposing walk a marathon encouraging others to take part and helping them when it got tough and then completing marathon run the next day.
Medical call out at 528 with Jamie
