Q

For lactating cows, what are the two classes of drugs that we currently have available for IMM products?

A

Penicillins and cephalosporins

Doesn’t give us much choice if we’re looking to change up the protocol or have a suspicion of resistance

Used to have macrolide products, but those haven’t been on the market in a while
