Isaiah 1:2
Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth For the Lord has spoken: “I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.

The Lord Almighty has a day in store for all the proud & lofty, for all that is exalted (& they will be humbled),

The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled & human pride brought low
the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

The arrogance of man will be brought low & human pride humbled; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day, 18 & the idols will totally disappear.
Isaiah 2:22
Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils.
Why hold them in esteem?

Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.

There4 the Lord’s anger burns against his people; his hand is raised & he strikes them down The mountains shake, & the dead bodies are like refuse in the streets.
Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.

Raise the war cry, you nations, & be shattered! Listen, all you distant lands.Prepare for battle, & be shattered! Prepare for battle, & be shattered!
10 Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us

The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.
Isaiah 8:14
He will be a holy place; 4 (believers) He will be a stone that causes people to stumble & a rock that makes them fall. & for (the unfaithful) people of (God) he will be a trap & a snare.
Isaiah 12:2
Surely God is my salvation; I will trust & not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength & my defense; he has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 13:6-7
Wail, for the day of the Lord is near it will come like destruction from the Almighty.
7 Because of this, all hands will go limp, every heart will melt with fear.
Isaiah 13:8
Terror will seize them, pain & anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor.They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame.
Isaiah 13:9
See, the day of the Lord is coming a cruel day, with wrath & fierce anger
to make the land desolate & destroy the sinners within it.
