List the types of monitor displays
Cathode ray tube(LRT) - uses an electron gun fired at phosphorous dots on the screen that light up
Liquid crystal diode(LCD) -More modern form of crt uses a cold cathode ray
Light emitting diode (LED) - Improved LCD eliminated LCD problems, uses a light emitting diode instead of a cathode ray, less energy consumption
What is resolution
Number of pixels on the screen - higher resolution = sharper image - low resolution looks better on a smaller scale
What is multimedia
Presentation of information using a computer that combines at least 2 of the following
- Text - Animation
- Audio - Video
- Graphics
What is interactivity
Interactivity is the user controlling the direction that the program flows - this is hypermedia
